Today's assignment is for the student to do a quick look at the country of Ireland.  The student will provide 3 links identifying maps, hotels and the history of Ireland.  Also provide a small write up identifying the capital of Ireland and a selected city of the your choice identifying what you found interesting about that city.

Pete Seeger passes on January 27, 2014

Students today will create a bio of Pete Seeger. Pete Seeger was a singer song writer. He passed away at the age of 94 on Monday January 27, 2014.



Where and when was Mr. Seeger born?  What is he known for? Include one video of a song and a photograph of him.

Add A Google Gadget

Today students will add two additional gadgets/widgets their website.

Add a clock/calendar
Add a gadget of your choice

Steps:

From Blogspot page go to design > layout > add a gadget
select: html/java script

 Dialogue box will appear. leave alone and search Internet for gadgets.

Add code to dialogue box > save > view blog.

Adding an HTML/Java Script Widget to site

Today's assignment will be to add two HTML/Java Script codes to your site.

From your blogspot page click
Design>Layout>Add a Gadget

From the Dialogue box that appears scroll to

select:  > HTML/Java Script

From the new Dialogue box that appear  (Leave Open)

you will be adding code to the area entitled: "Content"
and providing a title to the code in the area entitled: "Title"

Now search the Internet for some HTML/Java Script Code

Week #9 of Quarter 2. Friday Assignment

Today I am asking the student to add some of their work to a blog post. As a class we have created some video's and modified some photographs.  I am interested in seeing which of their work the student will post.

Week 9 of the 2nd Quarter Computer work

This week the students created a blogspot page. On the page the students placed the following:

1. 8 Total gadgets on their own page
2. One required gadget - That allows student to post photo of themselves on page
3. One required gadget - Followers
4. One required gadget -  Provide a Counter/Hit
5. One required gadget - Link List
6. On the link list the student is to have a minimum of 5 links
7. Modified the Template/background of the page.
8. Student visited Hillsidehigh2014.blogspot page and become a follower.
9. To have visited and become followers of two other classmates in class.
